Support Fostering Furbabies Animal Rescue Today

Are you wondering how much your donation really helps? We will break this down so you can see how every $1 does help the animals in our care.

$1 buys a can of cat food

$5 pays for a de-worming

$10 pays for flea treatment

$15 pays for 1 vaccination

$25 pays for 1 combo test or a microchip

$40 pays for a spay or neuter

This is just the standard care they need. They get dewormed when they come into our care, assuming they are old enough. Of course, treated for fleas, whether it be a flea treatment or dawn dish soap. What they get depends on age and size. Then we schedule their combo test, 1st round of vaccines. From there, we get the kitties get a spay/neuter appointment, usually 3-4 weeks after their first set of vaccines. When they get spayed/neutered they get their 2nd set of vaccines and their 2nd deworming, along with their rabies vaccine.

On average, the vet care we have into each animal is around $155-$160. Our adoption fee is $120. Yes, we are losing money, but with our fundraising efforts and donations, we will be okay. If the kitty is ill or hurt, our expenses go up, but our adoption fee stays the same. You see, it’s not about making money, it’s about helping animals. It’s about controlling the pet population, and it’s about making sure these animals have a family that will love them forever.

Every dollar does help! We make sure our animals are treated for parasites, protected against fleas, combo tested, vaccinated, and of course spayed or neutered.

We could not do this without your support.
