We are a foster-based rescue

That means we rely on people like you to house and care for all our kitties!

Who can foster?

As long as you can make a commitment to temporarily care for animals and have a household suitable, we would love to talk to you about becoming a Foster Parent! We require our foster parents to be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and attend two volunteer events prior to fostering.

Potential fosters must also have a home check to make sure they have a suitable space for a foster animal.

What do I have to do?

Once a foster is placed with you, you will be responsible for all care, including regular feeding, fresh water and keeping a clean litter box as well as play time and socialization. You will also be expected to transport your foster to any and all vet appointments and adoption events.

We will supply you with everything you need to care for your foster, including wet/dry food, cat litter, a pet carrier, and any necessary medications.

How long will I have the foster?

The length of time a cat stays in foster care can vary widely depending on several factors including health, age and availability of adopters. It could be as short as a couple weeks, or as long as several months. If you can only commit to a short term foster, that's okay! Just let us know the time you're able to commit to and we'll work with you to find a suitable fit.

How do I become a foster?

The first step is to fill out our online application! Once completed, someone will be in touch with you to go over next steps.

I have more questions...

No problem! Give us a call or send us an email and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about fostering.
